Legalization of adapted Vehicles for the disabled

Whatever adaptations for the use of by physically disabled persons that involve the modification of the position of the driver and vehicle controls must be legalized.

There exist various adaptations that can be standardized without any technical project being involved. Such as:

- Brake Controls: Handbrake, an addition to the brake peddles.

- Steering: Knob, ball, or steering wheel for k extension.

- Clutch Controls: An addition to the cluch peddle, double peddles, automatic clutch, etc

- Accelerator Controls: Acceleration peddle for the left foot, servo accelerator, radial accelerator (such as on motorbikes), etc

- Change of speeds: Automatic gearbox speed selector for the left foot, gearstick knob.


To negotiate any modification it is first necessary to have the following documentation:

Photocopy of the technical file of the vehicle. TIT
Photocopy of the circulation permit.
